I was very fortunate to get these today, because there were a lot of others looking through the lot of Jewelry, before I got to them. Maybe they were just looking for Gold, but I didn't think that $30. for all six, was too high, I did pick through, and all that I got were marked, and three are older pieces. I didn't clean, polish, or straighten, them yet, and would like to know your thoughts on doing that! Mostly the round Grapevine, with(I'm calling) a Civet in the center. The Brooch seems to be older, and I'm not sure if I should leave the Patina, or polish it out? Also what Animal do you think it is, and significance, of it, it any? The Bar Lingerie/Shoe Pin is Ravel, and the Ribbon with Green Rhinestone, is Sterling By Jordan, and I couldn't find Makers Marks on the others!
The U.S. Quarter, is to show size! :^D
Thanks for looking, and all comments are welcome! :^)
I added a few more Brooches, and did a little work on a few also in the 2nd photo! :^D
Thanks for the love Kevin! :^)
Thanks Ballstonlake, I think you're probably right about the Patina, but I really like the Shine of Sterling also, otherwise it may as well be Pewter! Just me though! :^D
Thank you for taking a look, and the love that you gave, shareurpassion, and Ballstonlake, it's appreciated! :^)
Hi Gillian, and Brian, thanks for stopping by for a look, and for the love, of what you saw! :^)
I think that's a fox in the grape brooch, as a reference to "The Fox and the Grapes", one of the Aesopica. It might also be a reference to "fox grape", but that's infinitely more unlikely; Could be a double ref, though.
Lovely lot you have there. I especially like the one with the yellow stones. I've not often seen a design that's both fine and spacious.
These are beautiful. The round grapes pin in really elegant. I personally like a little patina on the pieces, but not so much that they are totally grungy. I like the look of that a jeweler's cloth gives as opposed to actual silver polish. What do you prefer?
Nice haul, Bill! I think my faves are the round one and the large with citrine/amber colored stones.
Thanks Parrotbeak, I'll check the "Fox in Grapes" out, that sounds a lot better then a Civet! &:^} I really like that one also, plus it's HUGE, makes it even nicer! :^D
Thank you plein-air-painter, I think so too, it also seems to be an older piece, so I like a little Patina, but it is a little rough, so I have to clean it some! :^D
Mrstyndall, thank you, I was just about to leave when I saw the Jewelry box, so had to check it out! I picked through, but sometimes I think maybe I should get everything B^O but too much, $$$, and junk too, so these six were enough! :^D
Thank you all for the love that you gave,

Thanks my #1 Mary, I got a few other pieces today 5/26/19 at the Flea, and also did a little repair, and cleaning on a few, I'll post the improved(I hope) ones in the 2nd photo spot, in a little while! The Aesop's Fable, of "The Fox and the Grapes", is what the Brooch represents, and I found one on Worthpoint, that says it's 1940-50s, here's the link for the Fable:

and, here's the Brooch:

I hope this helps! :^)
Thanks for taking a look, and giving some love, Thomas, my #1 Mary, and aura, it's so nice, and appreciated! :^)
I added the Sterling Iris Brooch, a 10k Gold Bar/Lingerie Pin/Brooch, the small Avon Mouse with movable Glasses Brooch, a Gold tone Swirl Leaf Brooch, and a Gold? Brooch made of Parts, I think, looks like a Fountain Pen tip in it, but it could be used as an Accent or starter Brooch. I found these at the Flea Market today, along with two Rumph Pottery Mugs, that I may post! :^)
Thank you for the love Hel1, it's always nice to get! :^)
