My dad received thus knife during WW2, while serving in the Philippines. the overall length is 9". The blade is 4" and the knife is 5" long closed. The handle is made of wood, with what appears to be bone inserts. There are no markings on the blade. I believe the knife is made by Bontgen and Sabins, but don't know. I would be very interested in a any thoughts on the manufacturer, age, composition of the knife's material, or any additional information.
It is Balisong style. The word style is important here. It does have a tang pin which qualifies it as Balisong "style". I would say the latch alone speaks of a reproduction.
