Can someone Help me about this lamp?

Looking at the designs going upward from the bottom they look like a trident, a bludgeon and a spear that continue all the way around the base. All three were used as weapons of war and all three were used for fishing during times of peace. Might well be Greek or perhaps Italian.

name should be right on the round wick adjustment..might have to clean it up to see it in your case..

Thank you very much and very helpful info ..base seems like Spartan Shield and pattern 'V',
Unfortunately the wick looks no brand just use 2 inches nail.

The marking on a wick adjustment can be terribly misleading. Lamp makers often bought their wick adjustments and added it to their lamp. The lamp and wick control were often made by two totally different companies.

really .fhrjr2 lol "terribly" .. no not in all cases, just to those that have no clue. I have over 85 lamps ..how many you got.

GIJoeguy If you comprehended my post I said, "often made by two different companies". I grew up with finger lamps for the only light we had because there was no electricity back then. I have bought, sold, traded them for well over 50 years because they were my first experience with lighting well over 60 years ago. I am speaking from my experience. Take it for what it is worth.

well I'm 76 and my "comprehend" I think is all right, but i can go out to the barn and ask Milly my milking cow to check and see if its working ....lol...

The very first paragraph on the opening page of your link verifies what I said. Their works were in fact made by themselves and also sold to others. Unless you research the entire thing it can be terribly misleading. Perhaps discussing it with your cow isn't such a bad idea.

verifies what ...nothing you ever say in here most times is right ...lol well i have to go milk Milly ...later

A simple difference of opinion discussion and now we have to drag dead people into it. Not only morbid but disrespectful.
