This is a Seth Thomas Key Wind & Set pocket watch, manufactured in 1888.
Unlike the first key wind I posted, the E. Howard & Sons that the winding & setting was from the back of the movement,
this Seth Thomas movement is wound from the back & the time is set with the key on the arbor in the center of the dial.

Wonder why 2 keys when 1 would surely do ?
Lucas, bb2, this is the same key, showing both sides, although, there are key wind & set watches that use one size key to wind & a different size key to set the time, resulting in the need to carry two keys.
