This is one that I've had for a few years, but am just getting around to posting. The shape and decor date to approximately 1902-3. Opaque yellow glass ground with a dark brown spreading overlay on the bottom portion. The top portion has a field of pinkish silver-yellow iridescent oil spots. The vase is mounted in a Van Hauten pewter mount. The decoration is possibly by Josef Hoffmann - reference Ricke Band 1, p. 192, plate 208.

Interestingly. My vase with this decor has a less brown color spreeding to the bottom and less blue iris. see

I see what you mean - there seems to be a range of coloration with these - the example in Ricke exhibits very little of the vulcan/brown layer compared even to yours. Also, the iridescent spots on yours are more silver - mine are definitely a pinkish hue.
