The forget - me - not patch has a few months to go before it is bedecked in blue, so in the meantime, here's a touch of blue in the form of a pretty Victorian cased glass vase.
It measures 14 cm tall, 3 cm across the polished top rim, & 5 cm across the base, which does not have a pontil mark.
Made from two or three layers of cased glass, it has a swirling ribbed pattern, & is decorated with delicate raised enameling.
I think possibly Harrach. I have a peach coloured vase with the same ribbing & a similar raised enamel design of a floral spray.
Interesting variation of the molded diagonal ribbing, in a less rounded and tighter application. Thanks for posting.
My pleasure, & glad that it has been of interest, truthordare!
