We got the Union Pacific sign from a friend in Rexburg Idaho that belonged to his dad who was a collector. The RR sign came from an old guy who’s great grandfather invented the odometer for the Mormon pioneers that left IL and came West. Appleton Milo Harmon was his name. The mine cart came from a local antique store. Every piece has its own history as do the people we buy them from.

LOVE the RxR signs -- that UP shield in particular is *fabulous*!! Now, more details about the traffic signal please...who made it, where'd it come from, does it currently work, etc. etc. etc.?? ;-) :-)

      AnythingObscure,
We hot the traffic signal from a barn in Clarkston Utah, a tiny farm town on the border of Idaho. It was quite the surprise as we were picking that day and saw an old Truck in the field and when inquiring about it found that the owner was a collector who had died and his daughter was now the new owner. She was an attorney in VT pregnant with twins. After months of negotiating I bought 2 trucks, 3 gas pumps, some RR lights, signal, some signs. This was the signal. I left the restored 30 Packard. No place for it.
