The shape of this large vase is hexagonal, flaring out into a bulbous shape at its base. The base sits on five leafy feet. The colour is green, shading to amber, with opalescent lines on the points of the hexagon. The feet are pink.
There is also a single stem vase in the same décor and another with opalescent thorns instead of opalescent lines. These two have thorn feet instead of leaves but both styles of foot occur often in Welz production.

    Height 31 cm./12 inches

lol You thought the Kralik Gloria I posted looked like a leek too...... Do they have a special place in your heart, perhaps!

I must have some sort of allium obsession I guess! I do like onions & garlic & suchlike...& all the flowering bulbs. Apparently there was some Welsh background on my late mother's side so maybe that accounts for the leeks...

These are interesting pieces, and are quite reminiscent of a vase I have owned for many years and have never been able to identify. This example stands at 16.5 inches tall and is approx 7 inches in diameter at the widest point in the lower section. This is not the greatest pic, but should give a reasonable idea of what the piece looks like.

I see the resemblance too. Vintagefran once commented that she'd seen this décor with spiral lines.....so not out of the question.
