A couple of years after the a bit embarrasing Silberiris vase with false signature, I had the opportunity to acquire this one. However, the latter decidedly has a golden shine. I find that this bold design, like many others by Loetz, is rabidly modern - in the timeless sense of the word. And I absolutely love it!
The lovely iridescent Art Nouveau glass vase owns a so golden finish that it sometimes looks like real metal, depending on the incidence of light on its surface.
It has a pumpkin / melon ribbed shape and Goldiris decor. I believe it is around 1910. It stands 8 cm.
