So this is an interesting one, and offered here as something debatable. I know this to be a Kralik shape and I've included a side-by-side example and therefore a Kralik vase. The décor will be the issue for debate, in that it has either rightly or wrongly been identified or believed to be Ruckl, hey, it could still be, but I think this décor on this shape points more obviously to Kralik. The design of the foot is slightly different, but I do not think that can be taken seriously as a 'therefore it isn't Kralik' argument, as this is largely affected by the process of the manufacture and the foot can vary to some small degree. What is clear is that the profile is almost identical and the actual rim diametre is identical to within 1mm. So is it Kralik or is it some other manufacturer using a albeit generic shape the Kralik also used?
I believe your vase is Kralik. I have always stated that unless a spatter decor is extremely unique in appearance, using them to ID glass is a field of landmines. This is the perfect example.
In many cases, the only true path to an attribution is throgh marked examples, or using definitive shapes to ID the decor. Even in light of that, spatters are a type of glass where the smallest details in the decor or glass need to have the maximum amount of detail paid to them.
It is my experience after many years of doing this, that in many cases, the smallest detail differences tell the most profound stories.
Thanks Craig, as you can tell from my description I was already sold on the Kralik attrib. I just thought it was, as you say, a good example...re your comments.
The small differences in the foot could be attributed to a different mold, or possibly just wear to one that altered the foot shape by softening edges due to wear from hot glass.
I also believe it's Kralik, the combination of pink and blue , was used by Ruckl, the difference is Ruckl has a satin finish and there is no white spatter.

There are more Kralik shapes with this combination of decor in pink , white and cobalt, better know examples that were used with many Kralik decors.

Hhhmmmm, I’m not sure about the satin finish being the strongest indicator. These colors and decor are used by both companies, so certainly the shape is a sting indicator here. My approach is to look at as many indicators as possible. Recently, the indicators change priority according to the piece- for instance, the thickness of the glass is sometimes a strong indicator and sometimes it’s not. I love the colors on this Kralik piece
