I started out with resin gnomes but have been upgrading to concrete gnomes and animals in recent years. This one was a bargain at $20 from PCC for a large gnome like this. Has some damage to the neck but it is rebar reinforced so no big. Concrete wears well.
Originally I took the photos in daylight but as it is under a tree they did not come out well. See the last two photos to see the camouflaged effect. He is smoking a pipe and looks like he is supposed to be holding a fishing pole. I'll cut a branch for him so he get back to fishing for nothing.
I'll get around to posting the resin gnomes some time. They may not have the charm and quality of the concrete and cast iron gnomes but they are worthy.
