On the way home from the Flea Market today, the 2nd day, and the first Saturday of Summer, I saw a Garage Sale sign at the drive to the neighbors home that own the Llamas, so no doubt I had to check it out! :^D Glad I did too, they had some nice things for sale, and these Murano Art Glass Clowns, were part of the things that I bought. The Woman said that she bought one herself in Italy, and the other two her Parents bought in Italy themselves, years earlier, so even though there are no stickers or markings on them, she knows that they are Murano Art Glass! The tallest Blue and Yellow Clown with a Cane at his left side, is just under 12"h, 4" at the widest point at the front of his Shoes, 4" from the front of his Shoes to the back of his Cape, and 4 3/4" outside to outside at his hands. The middle sized Clown is almost 11"h, is mainly Blue with Red Buttons and Tie, a big Smile, crooked Eyes, with Yellow Hair, and a Blue Umbrella Cane at his right side, he's 4"w at the front of his Shoes, 4 1/4" from front of Shoes to the back of his Clown Pants, and 5 3/4" at his Cape-Tails. The small Clown, with Accordian in Hands, a Clear Cape, and a Multi-Colored incased in Clear, Outfit is 6 3/8"h, 4"w at front Shoes, 4" from front of Shoes to back of Cape, and 4 3/8"w at his Hands, his bushy Yellow Hair has a Dark Purple Derby Hat on top.
Thank you for looking, all comments are welcome! :^)
Thanks for the love keramikos, I'm leaving for a while, be back soon! :^)
Hey Thomas, I hope you're doing good! :^D Thank you much for the love of these Murano Clowns! :^)
Yes Thomas they all are unique, but the Artists that make these follow a pattern for each style of Clown that they produce, so many may look similar. Thanks for your comment! :^)
Hi Brian, thanks for taking a look, and for giving some love! :^)
What a colorful bunch of clowns :). Nice find
Thanks Mrstyndall, yes close to home too! They made me buy all three, for a price that I couldn't refuse! I also got a nice Red Tablecloth with Gold trim, for $1. that I thought would be great for one of the Royal Courts at the Ren-Faire, or just use it for Valentines Day! :^)
Very cheery clown figures, great colors
Jenni, AdeleC, aura, and Rich, much thanks for the love given, and also to Jenni for your bright comment! :^D I answered these hours ago, and was surprised when I saw nothing here, so sorry I must have forgot to submit! :^)
Thank you for bringing this back up, and for the love given, Findings, MALKEY, and
Charlie, it's appreciated! :^)
