J. B. Hirsch "Cleopatra Clock" Apres, E. Movier, 1925 - 30

This Art Deco Clock featuring Cleopatra, is based on the sculpture by E. Movier, C. 1922,
The partially nude figure is cold painted spelter (zinc based alloy metal), sitting on a White mottled alabaster base. The clock case is outlined in notched alabaster also. The clock cord has been replaced and is in fine working order. The clock features a New Haven movement in working order. The clock face is bronze clad.
The clock is 15.25" in length, 11.25" in height, and 4.75" in depth, it weighs in at about 12 lbs. The figure has a few chips to her body, and some flea bites to the alabaster base.
