This is a set made by BMC in the late 1990s. For some reason playset collectors young and old have liked the sets where are the good guys are killed. Those considered good guys at the time. Custer has lost a bit of favor currently. Other sets would include the Alamo and Charge of the Light Brigade. Custer and the Alamo are probably two of the most popular of the battle playsets made.
This set comes with several of the figures festooned with arrows including one who got it in the neck. Usually the arrow wounded guys just get one in the side. Also they solve the problem of arrow placement due to the molding process by adding figures with removeable arrows. The buglers is prone with 3 arrows and the flag holder has a hole for one in the chest as seen in photo #3. Sadly the flag broke off the pole but that can happen in battle. These are made from hard plastic instead of the more usual soft plastic used for playset figures.
The set also comes with a large Indian village and many warriors which will posted later as usual.

Never seen this before, great wounded and dead figures!
Is that Jay Leno's ancestor in the last pic?

Thank you very much Toyrebel. Somehow the chin didn't protect him.

Thank you very much buckethead. Probably not an ideal situation.

Thank you very much bobby725. Quite appropriate for this post.
