A friend of mine - Thomas Mann - purchased the Jax building and divided it up into many art studios which he rents out. i'm not sure whether he still owns it or has since sold it.

      Cool Sign.
It's a shame that they took a perfectly good brewery building and made it a shopping mall. I visited New Orleans a few times back in the 80s. I went in and out of the old brewery. The outside of the building looks great! I'm not much into shopping malls :)
