I’m just going through and repacking some of the old Loetz glass that I have put away, I want to make them more earthquake proof. This presented an interesting opportunity to share some of the tango here. All of this tango was produced between 1914-1930 by Loetz in Czechoslovakia.
1- Tangerine Martele glass with applied lime rim and ball feet
2- 11” trumpet shapes one with orange and black applications the other is blue satin glass with iridescent applications
3- A very rare three handle vase 4” x 8” made by Loetz
4. Two sweet examples in the Ausfuhrung 157 decor; berry bowl and tri-handle; both just over 3” tall
I am generally not a Tango fan, but I love the Tangerine Martele! Very unique.
