The phots are a bit pink but the truck is quite red. Anyway on with Matchbox Monday.
The MB-48 Dodge Dumper Truck first appeared in 1967 and was sold through 1971. In 1970 it became a superfast model in a blue and yellow paint scheme which is a bit bright but no too bad. I prefer the original of course.
The exciting feature on this as this is a dumper is that the dumper raises and lowers oddly enough. And there is the little plastic piece that holds it in place. Perhaps next week I will post the more primitive Bedford Tipper which requires finger support to hold open. The base is made out of chromed plastic which is part of the grill.
Got a nice GI Joe item coming up this week so stay tuned!
Another nice Matchbox.
