Hello I’ve done some research on ribbon bars and I am aware that the rainbow colored one is a victory medal from World War I and the stars represent the defense of an offense of battles or campaigns that my grandfather was in however I’m trying to understand what the meaning is for the other ribbon bars and I was wondering to see if anybody could provide any insight I see the plastic coating causes trouble for identification purposes but I was hoping that with the color clothes maybe in the back or in the front so we can help me identify these ribbons I believe the one with the red and white stripes is a good conduct model model or deals with the European campaign I’m just not sure on the others my grandfather served in the third division and 30th infantry of the army during world war one however after words during the 1920s and 30s he was in the Marines and served in the Caribbean and throughout that area so if anybody could provide any insight on the meaning of the other ribbon bars I would greatly appreciate it thank you for your time
