    Nice piece, what I think may be a door stopper. My Aunt is currently using it as a decorative piece to accent her accordion closet doors. Could use some input on the history of this item. Thank you.

      Nice one!! Is this one Citation or Hunter (it'll say on the front). Virginia Metalcrafters made three of these, I believe. The third was King's Genius. VA Metalcrafters were in business from 1890 thru 2005. The initials CRK stand for the designer, who worked at VA Metalcrafters at the time, Calvin Roy Kinstler. Rather this one was made in 1949 or if the design was simply dated 1949, the piece was likely cast in later years.

      This one says Hunter on the front lower platform.
