    I've always loved the way Harrach, and possibly others, put a little sprig of flowers on the back of their vases. This time, as I'm taking the photographs, I think of my grandmother, and that if she'd had one she'd probably have placed it on the mantelpiece. Of course if she had it would have been in front of the overmantel. Most overmantels had a mirror and thus both front AND back would have been visible!

      Beautiful vase from all angles. This reminds me of my grandma too as aqua/turquoise was her favorite color, and I am rather partial to it myself
