I hope this is working alright, I took the photos last night, really without a plan, so I'm going to have at least one more Closer Look post, then if you've got some that you still want to see closer just let me know! Wish me luck! :^D
First the Lockets are both Sterling Silver, the Rectangle one is Gold Shell 12k, and the Heart one is Sterling + 120-12k with Yellow and Rose Gold. Second the Button Hook is from Sommer and Kaufmann Shoes Market St. and Grant St. San Francisco. Third the Sun and Fish Earrings are Susan L Richardson Brass and Silver Mixed Metal. Forth the Twisted Leaf Brooch is Trifari. Last the Beltogram Pocket Watch Chain is by Hickok, and is marked Sterling, and is monogramed with an S on the front. Also the large Amber Heart Brooch is unmarked, so if you know anything about this beautiful Brooch, I'd love for you to share!
If you have any information, or want more on any of these, please let me know! :^D
Thank you for looking, all comments are welcome! :^)
and remember I have at least one more Closer Look, for tomorrow! :^D
Thank you for the love that you gave. Hel1. Brian. and Kevin, much appreciated! :^)
You have a great bunch here Bill, of course my faves are the animals, but I find that large amber bird wing or lobster claw shaped piece very intriguing, is that the heart? Very interesting design, lovely stones & pearls in that one
Thank you Jenni, yes that large Amber Brooch is what I'm calling Heart Shaped, but when I first saw it the other way around, it reminded of a Tiara, but the pin would have been on the bottom then, and might hang funny, so I showed it this way! You know, that every time I see an Animal, of any kind, you come to mind, and that's a good thing! :^D
Thanks Eileen, I got most of these over a 2-3 week period, Ken said he liked that Brooch too, and the Blue and Red one in the back, I really like also, I wish I had a better shot of that one, it's back in the shadows! Yes I grew up with 4 Sisters, and I could imagine living back in the 1890's, and my sisters, one blaming the other, on who had the Button Hook, and my younger sister out in the backyard using it to make mud pies or something else! Gentlemen of that era wore Button-up Shoes, but, probably had their Wife, or Valet Button them! :^D
Thank you all for taking a look, and loving what you saw, Jenni, Eileen, and AdeleC, it's always nice to get! :^)
Hello raven, and aura, nice to have you stop by, and leave some love, thank you both! :^)
/me raises his hand and asks for a closer look at those twisty-coil earrings (?) in pics 1 & 4...?? TIA, Bill... ;-) :-) :-) :-)
Thank you Ken, the Rhinestone Brooch, interested me a lot, it reminds me of a copy piece made for a movie/movie star, at a place where you wouldn't need the "Real One", I'm probably wrong, but sometimes the regular Seller that I got it from, has pieces that are in that direction! B^o
Trifari! You can't go wrong! :^D
Those are fun looking Earrings! Your wish is my command, AnythingObscure! :^D
Thank you, Ken, Manikin, and AnythingObscure, for bring the love for this post! :^)
Hi I'm voting for that one int he shadows, The blue with red accents brooch. Is that a clip or just a pin brooch. Hope you'll take an up close photo of that one. I think is is really beautiful.
