Small is often beautiful, both in glass & flowers.
This sweet little Victorian rose bowl (or perhaps a violet bowl) is made from three layers of cased glass, clear over pale green & mica spangled spatter, with a white interior. It has a ribbed pattern, & measures around 7 cm tall, 3 cm across the cut top rim, & 4 cm across the base.
A simple piece, but it captured my heart. It goes so well with the Rindskopf snake vases, & is perfect to hold a wee posy of lichen (which falls from the trees in the winter westerlies).
English? Bohemian?
Thanks so much, valentino97!
