AnythingObscure asked for a closer look at the Fun Coil Earrings, so here they are, in my style, with a few extra pieces, you might have wanted to see closer too, and a cute one the Little Girl Brooch(it reminds me of the "Sally" from Nightmare Before Christmas movie, Sterling, and Made in Mexico! :^D I added a full photo of the Silver and Turquoise Necklace, and the Cigar Box that I have them in, for this Post! :^D

I hope this helps! Thanks for looking! All comments are welcome! :^)

Bill, the amber brooch is really neat and I like the two blue ones the best :)

I love seeing the brooches, but really think that turquoise necklace is stunning. Love that piece, too. :)

THANKS SO MUCH, Bill!!! :-) :-) :-) Can you tell what metal the 'coil' part of them is made of?? (looks more copper than brass, but ?)

Gotta admit my first thought when seeing 'em was that, if they were mine instead, I'd probably actually wanna attempt to "alter" them somewhat... ;-) Being a longtime 24/7 wearer otherwise of surgical stainless "body piercing rings" in both earlobes (nothing extreme, just small 'circular barbells' in 3 different gauges, none that much larger than typical pierced earring posts) I think I'd wanna investigate how to remove one bottom bead (on the more loosely coiled side) and little free-hanging post on each, figure out how to then make the bead re-attachable somehow, then thread the actual coil itself thru my lobe instead about halfway around and wear 'em like that...?? ;-) :-) <LOLOL>

Thank you Maureen, I really wanted to show the entire Necklace, so I did! :^D

Thank you Eileen, I'm glad you were able to see them closer! I really think it was more like 2-3, but who's counting! :^D

You're very welcome AnythingObscure, and thank you for asking about them! :^D

They might be Gold Plated Stainless Steel Wire, but the only part that's a little attracted to a strong Magnet is the post itself, and just slightly, the end Balls might be Silver, or plated, but the Coils are fairly stable, I mean if you pull hard, you can stretch them, but I don't think Copper, or even Brass, is that tough. The End Balls might be glued in, so you would have to cut one off, drill, tap and die the Ball and Wire, so you could screw and unscrew, the Ball . . . Easier, get some Sterling Wire, wrap it tight around a 3/8"-1/2" rod or wood dowel, stretch it to the desired shape, get 4 Sterling Ball Beads with a hole smaller than your Coil Wire, thread the wire tips, and through tap the Beads so you can screw them on the Wire, glue one in and leave the other free, easy as 1-2-3! :^D

The Posts on the Earrings are free floating, just to mention! :^D

Thank you all for taking a look, and the love you gave,

Whoops Bill, how did I manage to neglect to actually tap the <love it> button?? <headdesk> Thanks so much for the further info about the earrings, interesting that they're made of a more stout metal than I guessed.
For the record, your estimation of 'what I'd to to 'em if mine' is spot-on <lol> no doubt your suggestions of how to mimic them would also ultimately be a far more practical solution should I truly decide I needed a pair of weird twisty earrings like that...even moreso if I actually engaged someone (not me?!) who is an actual jewelry artist to do it for me instead...? ;-)
No matter...just my initial passing thoughts when I first saw your pic, right after the 'oh, *those* are interesting?!!' <big grin>

I really should get them tested AO, but didn't think too much about them, just grabbed them out of a pile, only one first, but found the other with a little more digging, more because I thought they looked cool, and different, and the price . . . well I forced $1. on them, but they tried to give them to me! :^D Until I got them home and cleaned them up. "Hey these are very nice!" I think if you tried messing with some wire and beads, you might find it easier then you think to make some of your own! AnythingObscureEarrings.com! ! ! Sounds good! :^)

<ROTFLMAO>, Bill!! "AOE.com"...?? <LOL> again...but there *is* an amusing 'ring' [pun not necessarily intended?] to it...?? ;-) :-) Who knows, maybe I'll find a little 'free time' around the shop tomorrow to experiment with how difficult it might really be to create such a shape from a little bit of similar sized scrap wire...??
      All the best, Tim :-)
