I apologize for the picture but it's very difficult for my cell to photograph this item as it's so small.
Description:
Approximately 3 1/8" inches long
One side (approximately 2") is a long very thin 4 sided tapered to a point.
That long tapered area goes into about a 1/2" rounded area then again a 4 sided taper to a point on the opposite side.
Someone made a guess that it was a Jewelers smoothing tool but again, they were unsure.
Mystery is what is it and what was it used for and by whom, jeweler, or clock/watchmaker or both?
