More stuff from my friends vintage vinyl shop.
    1. Sansui quad amp and turntable; mid 70's I guess
    2. 4 channel Akai reel to reel; same era as above.
    3. Vintage reel to reel; forgot to ask about manufacturer and date. Late 40's-early 50's is my guess.
    4. Phonola stereo, I think it's cool looking. Early 60's(?)

Thanks Thomas. You probably remember the quad era. That amp, turntable and reel to reel would have been top of the line. I remember the first Akai reel to reel with JBL speakers I heard in the early 70's. The sound quality blew me away!

I was huge into Audio equipment back then. I still want a Pioneer SX1250 receiver.

Apache, I loved and still love audio stuff. There's classics I wish I could own. Nice audio set ups were out of my price range back then. But I saw some sweet ones back in the day. An Akai reel to reel with JBL speakers I listened changed what I thought was good audio. The difference in the clarity and quality of sound compared to what I was use to was staggering, I'm not exagerating. To have a quad set up like this was waaay out of my range back them.

MsCrystal, sounds like a neat mancave. You are correct about the scarcity of vintage audio. It's extra hard to find them in good shape and functioning properly.
