Had to do a redo on this that I posted over a year ago as that uniform had post 1989 patches. As long you don't look too closely at the service stars. Also I am thinking a Life Scout might be an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader or Junior Assistant Scoutmaster but the Quartermaster patch looks good.
Aside from using the right patches this has even more patches such as Quality Unit, Arrow of Light, Camp Patch and perhaps a couple others.
For some background famed fashion designer designed an all new Boy Scout uniform for the 1980s. The most notable change is the tan shirt, before this the uniform was a uniform green. Aside from the shirt being tan it also has epaulets which come in handy for the Den Chief Cord on the left shoulder and the red shoulder tabs. Everything from the socks to the hat were part of this uniform aside from the neckerchief /scarf which is optional. I have it with and without neckerchief here.
Now I can work on some earlier Scout uniforms.
Your Scout is SO “the 80s”.....the rather short and close-fitting shorts were the style. And his hairstyle is “right on”, as we used to say back then.
That's some style.
I'm sure some boys joined the Scouts just to look this good.
Thank you very much Watchsearcher. I had some OP shorts like that. They were rather short.
Thank you very much racer4four. It was stylish then. The current uniforms are not which could be why they are low on members.
This is the previous version...…

You're amassing quite a scout collection. The "scout" looks eerily alive at first glance.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. It is a great mannequin considering it was $100. I do have a few surplus items at this point. The scout collection isn't taking up as much room as the Joes currently.
Thank you vetraio50.
