This is an old 1924 Class photo of "Kearney Teachers College Penmanship Class 1924".
I just found it in a box that I salvaged in a garage of a sold house that I am cleaning out. Are you in this photo?
I bet not a one of them would have dreamed that penmanship would become a thing of the past and cursive writing would not even taught in school anymore!
I totally agree with all that!
Latin is a good base to have for a botanist, taxonomist, linguist, or a student of any of the romance languages. Penmanship? i have always been the bottom of my class in that. good thing i can churn out 160+ words/pm on a keyboard!
