Curious if anyone knows how old this dresser may be. It is oak. carved beveled mirror, bottom front and front claw feet Thx.

The top is a very pretty quarter sawn/tiger oak.

Has anyone had an issue with the legs splitting from leaving the wheels on? I have taken the wheels off because one of the wood wheels was missing from the metal parts. I was wondering if I should just leave them off. I do like the look with the wheels attached. It obviously has been around very long with the wheels not causing an issue but I've read that the legs can possibly split. So I am reluctant to try to pry out the sleeves and put in new ones with new wheels.
