After having gone searching to dig this outta storage today (potentially needing to actually use it again this weekend for the first time in many years...) it also finally occurred to me that it [considering the also now 'barely hanging on' status of Kmart as a Corporation no matter how ubiquitous they used to be] might nearly be now slightly unique unto itself. [or maybe not, or whatever...]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kmart

Reality would strongly suggest this was never anything approaching a "professional quality tool" -- no doubt meant for the 'shade-tree mechanic' market and mostly intended to be tossed in the trash/burnpile when any part of it would likely break if somebody did actually try to use it too much. [I was sorta surprised to notice that it is marked as actually MADE IN THE USA anyway...bet y'all won't find that notation on any similar product now to be found in the wallyworld 'automotive section'...?] :-( :-( :-(

But anyway. I did actually get it myself, as "new" I think, rightabouts 1980 or so not too long after I first got my own car. ;-) I'm pretty sure I still have a 2nd one mostly just like it too somewhere still hiding in storage someplace but so far haven't been able to locate that one nor any specific memory of how/why I might have thought I needed more than one then...?? <sigh><headdesk>

THANKS MUCH to Toyrebel, fortapache, officialfuel, EJW-54, & Brunswick for stopping by and sharing the love for this no doubt not really all that 'rare' thing... ;-)

For the record, the motor in my truck sounds *so* much happier now being full of fresh new oil -- though indeed one of the little plastic wheels on the creeper didn't quite survive the process.... <headdesk><lolol>

Yup iggy, the last Kmart store around here disappeared years ago now...sad to say but it wasn't a huge loss for me, anyways... :-(
