As seen on Saratoga’s backstretch following an August 2019 shower. The cover was made by the Neenah Foundry Company.

Would that I could return for a Whitney or Travers stakes around now, thanks for the memories Ted - "and they're off...!"

I went there with three buddies while on a weekend pass in 1966. Met a gal there and went home with her. All three of my buddies were killed in a crash going home. One of them was wearing my field jacket and by the time I got home the next day I had been declared dead. There wasn't enough left to identify them so they assumed the name on my jacket would be me. I will certainly never forget Saratoga.
