I fell in love with this unique piece as soon as I saw it and wanted to know if anyone could give me some information as to its origin and/or its style, even a hint of what type of wood. Unfortunately, the previous owner spray painted it everywhere, inside the drawers and the back as well. I checked everywhere for any markings but to no avail. I do plan on removing the paint and staining it in the future.
Not possible to identify the wood until the paint is gone. We can see wood on the drawer side and the back but those are both secondary wood which is generally a lower quality and different species used where it doesn't show.
