Such a killer buy here!!! This belt buckle is not signed, and I'm not really supposed to state it with the title "Native American" even though I would bet my bottom dollar it is. Not all Native American pieces are signed and not selling it on-line either.
Detailed with gorgeous Turquoise, Coral, an Eagle and 5 Buffalo Head Nickels. Each buffalo on here has 4 legs and all but one of them, you can see their horns. Too bad they are of no value now as coins, but they look great on here. As for the turquoise mine these 2 pieces are from... beats the heck outta me! I have come to the conclusion that I have no idea anymore! Every time I think I know the mine by studying the color and matrix, I get a new surprise by finding it so possible they could be from almost any mine. I'm done trying to figure that out! Photo #1 shows a truer color of the turquoise.

I also just read that the Buffalo nickel with the 3 legs is more valuable, of course depending on the date and mint mark, so I was backwards on that!

Awesome buckle, but I reckon if you ever wear this people will say "Hello buckle, nice Sue you're wearing there!".
Research is the pits. Just when I think I'm on top of a glass house they eff me over with an outlier. I'm not sure if that makes me insane or keeps me sane.
Hi Karen, I have to say, since I totally understand what you're saying, I'd have to opt for the "keeps us sane", otherwise I'd be admitting I'm crazy too! haha And btw, I personally would never wear that belt buckle, you're right, that would be what people saw instead of me!!!

Mary!!! I couldn't, I'm telling you, I got the dunlap thing goin on and this sucker would hurt to wear!!! LOL!!! I'm serious too. It's kinda cool tho, I just hit 2lbs over the weight I was when I had my son 32 years ago! Crazy right!

shareurpassion, I'd consider myself a novice silversmith. I do claw jewelry and tufa casting. Started doing it part time about 2 years ago. I posted up one of my bear claws earlier. I'll post more soon.
