Posting early as I have to work late tonight. Anyway on with the exciting post.
Despite its recent vintage this is one is one of the more expensive. In 2007 the retail price for a new one was $41.75. The reason perhaps was the etched blade seen in photo #2. The etching wears off easily and this one has readable etching. I paid $40 for this one and it was a good buy.
Aside from the blade it has a more colorful handle. It is a simulated deer horn called Delrin plastic which is a combination of plastic and metal.
Camillus got the can opener and screwdriver blades from another source but made the other blades. This was the standard 4 blade camp knife the Boy Scouts used for decades.
In the last photo are all my BSA pocket knives. On the left is an Ulster (1962-1979), Next to it with the smooth handles is an Imperial (1973-1979). In the middle is the featured Camillus. Next to it is the Cub Scout Camillus and on the right is an Imperial Cub Scout knife.
Camillus went out of business in 2007 which had begun in 1902. They began making Boy Scout knives in 1946.

Great post. I had a "bone" handle one in the 60's.
