Is this recognized by collector's? It has a H. B and a 2 1/2 c. C has / through it. Was there ever a 2 1/2 cent coin made or token. Rear side cannot tell what or anything on it.

Hudson Bay co.?
I think Blunderbuss2 has it right. The Hudson Bay company traded furs with the Northern Natives in Canada and used Silver Coinage to pay them. They are not common and many Canadian Museums have examples.
I knew if I kept trying, I would get something right in my life !! LOL !
