Remember this gas pump light I posted 7 yrs ago? Well patience and persistence paid of and it's in the back of my truck today!! The old country store it was in front of has been vacant for a few years and for sale, I noticed it had sold and have been watching for someone to be there and today was the day! I pulled in and talked to a worker cleaning the property and he called his boss with my offer and he accepted so I loaded up my tools and went and cut it down. It will be kinda sad not seeing it in front of the old store but it probably would have ended up in a dumpster if I had not got it. Lucky me! Have fun collecting!
Looks great Ed! It will look great at your place! Enjoy! :-)

I am glad to see you saved it and wow that is a beauty !
So glad it's in caring hands now. So many wonderful items get destroyed by folks who really don't understand the historical value of wonderful old pieces such as this gas pump island light. Glad you finally have possession of this now!!

Thank you Roycroftbooksfromme1 ! I think so to!
I stuck it in the ground today just to get it out of the shop after cleaning it some and shooting the red with clear coat.
