@trunkman here are some pictures of my MM Secor truck. On closer observation of your pictures, mine is not the wheat pressed tin.....not actually sure what plant it is..... The rest of the fittings look identical. I cant get into the trunk at the moment, however if I do I will be sure to post more pictures

Thanks that’s lovely!!! Just for your title it should be Martin Maier Trunk (not Secor). I’m sure one of our contributors can give a name to the tin pattern. So nice to see ... thanks for posting

Beautiful Martin Maier Trunk! I have the same exact trunk, except with alligator embossed tin. Your floral pattern is very nice, and the trunk seems to be in excellent condition! Thanks for sharing!!

Fantastic trunk, I love Martin Maier trunks, I have about 8 or 9 in my collection, from Detroit Mich. only about 80 miles from me, other than T mans wheat pattern the first one I've seen that wasn't alligator tin pattern. This is a raspberry tin, very nice!

That lock is actually very easy to pick. You just need a barrel key that fits it. Rotate the key clockwise. There aren’t any actual “tumblers”, just a spring loaded mechanism.

I will post a pic on my board of the internals.

      Good luck!
