My father-in-law was given this chess set as a gift. Now that we’ve inherited it, I’d love to know more about it. There are no markings or labels of any kind. Thank you for any info you can provide!

I am sorry that I don't know anything about this set, but it is gorgeous!
Did you ever discover the origin of the chess set? I just discovered a similar one in the cupboard of my house and am curious as to origin. In looking online, I have now seen three of these sets. They are all different colors from each other. Mine are mostly black wood with ivory color. The other set was mostly white with ivory and tan color. Yours has brown and ivory color. Any information discovered yet about these sets?
C'est un jeu d'échecs d'origine mexicaine en os et bois, si vous tapez sur un moteur de recherche vous le retrouverez aisément...
Lucky68: Merci beaucoup! I did find them just like you said. :-)
