I have recently picked up this hood sign from a lady that was selling hood dairy items that belonged to her husbands father who worked for hood in boston for 30+ years (late 1950s-early 1990s) This sign looks to be from the late 1950s-early 1960s.
All other hood signs are red and i cannot find anything about a blue hood logo like my sign, The sign is made of wood and is 21” long and 18” height. Other similar signs are about same size, red, and metal.
Why this sign is blue is a mystery. If you have any info or know anything please help me solve this mystery! Thanks
