Picked this up at a local garage sale for $2 this weekend. The plum color is gorgeous! The bottom of the base is stamped "Accurate Casting F", but the company only makes the base. Using this information, the lamp would have been produced sometime between the 70's and 80's. Just goes to show that it does not have to be old to be beautiful. These pics and all the background distractions do this NO justice---sorry for the crappy pics!

Is this Fenton? Is that why it has an F? We'll have to see what Fenton-hobnail has to say! :) Very pretty!

I'm not sure. I tried to locate what the F stood for without any luck. Wouldn't that be great though?

Is the F in an oval?
    4. thriftfan thriftfan, 13 years ago
No. It is just underneath Accurate Casting Co.
    5. Mrj303 Mrj303, 13 years ago
Ok. Fenton glass didn't mark their items until after the early 1970s. Some times it was only an F in an oval and then it might be FENTON in an oval. Sometime it has a number under the FENTON, like an 8 means made in 1980 etc.
