This is very sweet, it's pose and colour is so adorable! It is rather like a real dove's pose- the head up and alert and inquisitive, sort of as if he's been given some seeds and is wondering if there's more or not?! Reminds me of the pair that often visit my garden,
Wow indeed!! This is such a beautiful dove Jenni!!

Thank you so much Lauren for the wonderful comment, I am glad this reminds you of the doves in your garden, we have the grey mourning doves here in NY and they do have a sad sort of cooing. They are very devoted birds much like cardinals, almost always have a mate close by, and yes the head of this glass one is very like the real birds
Ken thank you for the terrific compliment, that tail is pretty impressive from the back sorta reminds me of the NBC peacock lol! Of course Murano took artistic license with this tail but they always part from reality in some way right
Thanks Scott for the super praise, really glad you found this a wowzer, I found the color combo so appealing I couldn't resist
Thomas thanks so much, yes the dove of peace, before we know it Christmas will be here and that is often the theme of my holiday cards
MrsT thank you for the great compliment I am so delighted you found this dove beautiful as I did
Eileen thanks for the really lovely compliments and I just wish I had a big bay window to display all my glass animals in the sun (they originally were called window glass animals, probably for that purpose) but unfortunately since I've just moved they are sitting on shelves patiently awaiting a display case, one day soon I hope :)
Karen thank you for the kind words and you absolutely nailed the description for this bird, calm and restful, this blue & green sommerso blend is my fave Murano combination as it reminds me of the land & sea colors of the warm tropics
Congrats there -- and with label !!!! You know we love Labels !! So happy for you, and Great Find !!!!!!
Hi Rose, great to see you and thank you for the great comment & love :) Yes it was fortunate to find this pretty dove with the Murano label as there are so many copies out there, glad you liked this

Mary thanks so much for the appreciation my friend, you helped me along when I first came on CW to post the measurements, the backs of jewelry etc, so I thank you for making me a better CW collector as I want others to know as much as possible about my post & try for accuracy, besides online research you should see my big heavy books on glass & jewelry! Like you I find this site very enjoyable, the people here are great & we help each other & learn from each other, what could be better right
Rock on Mary XOXOXO luv Jenni - I would put an emoji heart here but CW doesn't take them, how about a half smile :)
Sweet one Jenni.............we'll have work on the color ..'-))

Many thanks rene for your kind comments and I agree this may have been a Seguso inspired design but done by another Murano company
i have done it all over again because i ought to know the lable , but i am to incoherent. its like i said before it may have been a seguso because its a sonoclore, the point is 6 parted is peculiar
Thank you apostata for the kind comment and appreciation for this Murano dove
