I believe I have a vintage solid ivory letter opener. It has 13 elephants on it. I once heard there were only 7 made in the world. However, I can't find much information on it? What type of value does it have? I know there are restrictions on selling ivory. Any suggestions what I should do with it?

Is it Ivory?? or Ivorene?? A composite material that looks like Ivory.

Ivory will show schreger marks. I can't tell from your photos.
