I found this Antique Pottery Plate with a Portrait of a Lady or Queen(Elizabeth I or Mary Queen of Scots) or a combination of both Queens, at a Thrift Store in Concord, Calif. The Plate is Antique, but I don't know how the Portrait was done, it's smooth, but has deteriorated in areas, but also has bumps in the surface, on the Choker, and Necklace, where the Jewels are. It's very interesting how it was done to me, and was wondering if anyone has seen this before? The Plate is 10 1/2"dia. it has a hole on the back, for a string/hanger, and a 9. painted under glaze below, with an impressed 2 in the center.
I really just wanted to show this, because I think it's so nice looking, but would like any info that you have on it! :^D
Thanks for looking, all comments are welcome! :^)

Jenni and Watchsearcher, much thanks to you both, for the love that you gave! :^)
I think the costume looks more like Charles 2nd time, Roundheads and Cavaliers time!
Thanks AdeleC, I was checking Portraits of QE I, and MQ of Scots, both have similar Dress, but I think the Plate is generic, a combination of maybe a few, not sure though! :^D
