Superb!! As I stated in your previous post, you have the most wonderful historic items in your collection!!
jscott,
My friend has been letting go of some of his Frances Yeend treasures. I was so lucky to get this item!!
It's superb. I hope the child had a cushion.
Gillian,
My dog has claimed it with his cushion :)
Wow, very nice! You have such an eclectic collection of beautiful things!
Brunswick,
Thank you! I thought it may be some type of pew but I never heard of a "side pew."
Mrstyndall,
Thank you :)
A beautiful piece for certain, but I'd be suspicious of it actually having a 'church origin' simply because of the lack of any sort of religious symbolism in its lovely carved decoration...??
Yes, certainly interesting for a piece that old.
AnythingObscure,
Thank you! I continue to call it a child's bench.
fhrjr2,
Thank you!
