Gorgeous deep red color!
Beautiful Pete early to mid 20th, Japan akasuke (pigeon blood) ginbari (translucent enamel) cloisonne, with a lush rose bouquet.
These were made for decades, they were so popular for export. There are maker's names such as Inaba and Sato that were marked, sometimes on the base rims.
The type of metals used helps date them, this vase looks like nickel, so later. Thanks for posting.
thanks Mrstyndall, truthordare and rene!
tod is it about the nickel or is it about flat or deep dimling ?
