The dealer's words describe it best:
"Rare "Pandora" glass pitcher by Josef Knizek in museum condition. Designed by Maximilian Boudnik at the Antonienbutte glass factory, Ullersdorf (Germany) near the Czech border with Teplitz (or Teplice). The pitcher was made between 1900-1910, stunning example of a colorless glass base treated with metallic reduced enamels to resemble ancient Roman glass. The overall tone is amber colored with iridescent turquoise, cobalt, purple and milky blue green. It has a polished rim and ground and polished pontil. Great example of Art Nouveau/Secessionist glass, relatively unknown compared to Loetz. The pitcher is 6 1/4" tall and 4" in diameter."
Very nice find cameoboy, the Pitcher almost looks like an old antique Bronze piece, beautiful! :^D Thank you for showing! :^)
