Hi there, My dad died unexpectedly and I never sat down with him to learn about his weapon collection. #1,2, and 3 look the most interesting but I don't know if they are authentic or replicas and where they originated from. #4, 5, 6 appear to be newer and #7 and 8 are very small. I thought they might be mini replicas but the blades are quite sharp. Thanks for any guidance you might provide.

So... 1 looks indian or asian... the animal figures arent usually found on knives from islamic countries. 2 looks like a kinjal, from caucuses region... islamic russia.. but items like that also produced in north africa. 3 is a koumiya or jambiya from n africa, probably camel bone pommel n sheath. The 3 w sheaths look like fine custom knives... maybe not super old, but could be v expensive. The last one w metal scabbard is german, and i have one almost identical... but 50 percent larger. Mine was ww2 german army officer
Dress dagger, w swastika broken off... but mine is 12.14 inches long... hope this helps...
