If bonè handle, probably water buffalo, philipines or indonesia... characteristic blade fr those areas... and dont let thin blade put you off... might be made from car leaf springs... v durable... and...

Turkish sounds good... and dont worry about the tourist thing... most old .tourist. knives really are authentic ecamples of what locals buy.
A divers knife, obviously... could be worth lots...
First.. no reason to think templar... but could be trench art from last 150 years... locals would re use brass casings to make stuff like this... could have bought blank blade, cast the pommel on it. ...
I would guess indonesia... shows islamic influence, but east indies blade type...phillipines has similar blades, but not fine metal work on sheath n pommel... like that...
What those guys said... fyi... double edge daggers are federal offense in USA. You can get sevral years in prison for that, even if never leaves home.
Definitely african... all characteristic, leather work n pommel. And probably not tourist piece. Customer was supposed to have it sharpened.
So... 1 looks indian or asian... the animal figures arent usually found on knives from islamic countries. 2 looks like a kinjal, from caucuses region... islamic russia.. but items like that also produ...
I think this is pretty good piece, probably persian or close by... as for being showpiece... many fancy mid eastern pieces are display pieces, but still authentic... they are status pieces that guys c...
This is probably african, libya, sudan... leather work characteristic and goats important in tribal economy... something western n US collectors dont understand... in some cultures, one guy makes blad...
