There are times in one's life as a collector when you know you've reached a new level.
For me, as an admirer of Victorian art glass in all its diversity, to acquire a piece of cameo glass has long been a goal.
When the opportunity arose to make that acquisition (for a pleasingly reasonable price, & from a dealer I've bought from for almost 25 years) I seized it with great enthusiasm.
So here it is, a small vase by Thomas Webb & Sons.
Made from pale yellow glass that contains uranium & glows under UV light, it features cameo decoration of flowers (perennial phlox, I think), two butterflies, & grasses.
The vase measures around 10.5 cm tall, 5 cm across the top rim, & 4.5 cm across the base.

Beautiful, IronLace, and the simplicity of it being only two colours gives it great style and panache.

Thanks so much, sklo42 - & beautifully said!
Me too, Scott - & it's such a thrill to have a piece at last after so many years!
On my bucket list, just beautiful!..:-)
Many thanks, inky! This one's ticked off an entry on my bucket list, but I keep adding more...that's the collector's lot, it seems! :-)
