Old lady gave this to me. She couldn't move it out of her flower garden. She gave it to me. Weights minimum 150 lbs. Looked but no markings I can see. What do I have?

Some old anvils have numbers near the bottom that tells the weight of it.

Anvils in good condition an be worth a fair amount of money even if they are very old. You may find the weight marked as "** CWT" standing for "hundredweight"

If the base of the anvil has dot punch or chisel marks it is a good indicator that the anvil is genuine.
