Hi.. Brand new here, came across these Goerz binos, think they are 6x24. Anyone shed light on there history or identify them??
Production No is 295389
Serial No is 17837
There is some stamped engraving which looks to have been scratched out on the left plate images above show.. Image is quite clear and there is individual eyepiece focus too.

According to the Goerz production database this pair was made in the year 1900. There were a total of 20,000 pair known to be produced that year, however there may have been more. They provided binoculars, scopes and cameras to the German Military during the world wars.
